Summer Camp XTREME
Ages: 5 – 12 years (must have attended Kindergarten)
Join us for a summer of fun! An experienced and responsible staff will lead campers on numerous exciting adventures. Campers will enjoy weekly theme field trips that include the Shakespeare Festival, Environmental Science Day, the Planetarium, kayaking, the Nevada Museum of Art, miniature golf, beaches around Tahoe, Wild Waters and many more. Mixed in with the adventures are activities which include arts & crafts, games, sports and contests. Scholarships are available - please call (775) 832-1310 for information. Get the brochure.

XTREME Teens
Ages: 11 - 16 (Grades 6th - 9th)
Are you looking for supervised recreation for your teen? Take this opportunity to let them learn self-confidence and responsibility! We have found some really fun day trips for the teens in Tahoe. All trips are supervised by well trained staff. Give your teen the opportunity to make new friends from around the lake! For additional information and prices, please contact the Parks & Recreation Department Counter at (775) 832-1310. Scholarships are available.

Preschool Dance
Ages: 3-5 years
Have a little star at home who loves to dance in front of the mirror? Enroll your child in Preschool Dance! Participants will explore a whole new world of dance through rhythm and music. They will also be exposed to tap, jazz, ballet and creative movement. This class is a great opportunity for children to socialize with others their own age. Children must be able to participate without parent present.

Dance Combo Class
Ages: 5 - 7 years
this is an introductory class for children ages 5-7. The structure of the class is geared to provide a positive environment to learn dance and socialize with new friends. The children will learn about creative movement, rhythm, and a variety of dance genres, such as tap, jazz, and ballet.

Hip Hop Dance
Ages: 8 - 12 years
Learn the latest dance moves! This high energy class is great for those who enjoy the latest urban pop music. Fun and fast paced, this hip hop class emphasizes rhythm and isolated movements. Dancers will learn steps, patterns and routines. This class is a great upbeat way to exercise. Learn how to dance while staying in shape! No experience necessary.

Teen Dances
Grades: 6th - 8th
The Youth Activities Council and Parks & Recreation sponsor two teen dances at the Chateau. We have a great DJ that plays all of the latest music. Appropriate dress and behavior is required to attend our dances. No glow items are allowed. All Incline schools’ and Lake Tahoe schools’ students are welcome to attend!
