Incline Village Tennis Center Hosts Junior Tennis Fundraiser August 1-2, 2008

Incline Village, NV- The Incline Village Tennis Center is hosting a special event on to benefit the junior tennis program for North Lake Tahoe. Former top 50 player and current TV tennis commentator Justin Gimelstob will play an exhibition match with Paul Goldstein, a Stanford graduate once ranked 40th in the world. This event will take place on August 2nd at 1:30 pm.

“The future of Incline tennis is on the racquets of our children. Once of our primary goals at the Incline Tennis Center is to provide a quality developmental program for children of all ages, socio-economic backgrounds and levels of competition. Our challenge is to make this available to everyone, without financial restrictions,” said Tennis Center Director and Head Professional Billy Knight.

On Friday, August 1st, a “Meet the Pros” sit-down dinner will be held at the Crown Room of the Crystal Bay Club. There will be a silent auction and raffles giving away doubles play with the pros, hitting sessions, lessons, and more. Dinner is $50 per person in advance or $60 at the door (no host bar will be available). The 3-course dinner will feature chicken piccata, salad, side dishes and dessert. Reservations may be made with a credit card by calling (775) 832-1235.

Please call the Tennis Center at (775) 832-1235 to RSVP for the exhibition match. Admission is free for ages 14 and under and $5 for ages 15 and over.

The Incline Village Tennis Center is located at 980 Incline Way in Incline Village, Nevada. For information on season passes, clinics, and events, please call (775) 832-1235.
